Why I am a Shoot and Share Photographer

I am so blessed to be a part of an industry like photography.  In normal places of business and companies, it’s not okay to do things like, well, share!  Sharing is the opposite of  any other business, which is funny since it’s the first rule we learn as kids!  However, the photography industry is making huge strides and is headed towards sharing lots!  Photographers are sharing their expertise and knowledge freely.  Photographers are also sharing with their clients freely!  That’s where I come in!

I’m a “Shoot and Share” photographer, which means that I share my images freely with my clients!! I let them have the digital negatives to their images so they can print them whenever and wherever they want! So why do I do this?  Because I think that its a much better service to my clients!  I know some photographers charge over a thousand dollars for a copy of those digital negatives!! Who wants that?!  So in order for my clients to get to use their photographs to their best potential, I let them share it with everyone!  It’s their photos, so their should be able to do what they want with them!!

Happy Tuesday!

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
