Yesterday, my little sister embarked on the trip of a lifetime… she’s spending the semester abroad studying in Tuscania, Italy.  It’s sometimes still strange to me that she’s even old enough to be away at college, none-the-less away in Europe for a  semester!  Rach, I am so excited for you and this adventure!  Be safe, and take lots of pictures for me!!

In other news:

  • This weekend was filled with good cooking!  In my tiny little oven, I made a cake for the first time that actually cooked through all the way.  I also iced the cake and after looking at it, I didn’t want to punch myself in the face… so that’s a win! Haha!  For those of you who know me, you know that baking is seriously not my forte, so any little victory counts!
  • What’s up with this “snow” storm?  Serious let down.
  • I finally spent some time sprucing our little apartment for springtime!  I love styling all of our shelves and things!

What about you? What was on your list of things to do this weekend??

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
