Monday’s Mash-up Christmas Highlights

Hi there sweet friends!  Welcome back to the daily grind of Monday!  For those of you lucky enough to still be curled up in your pajamas with your loved ones, I’ll admit I’m a little jealous of you!  The holidays are always some of my favorite times of year, but this year in particular was so fun and special.  Being surrounded by so much family and so many friends makes me so grateful for this life I have and of course for the people in it!  Anyways, without further ado, here’s a little remix of what happened this weekend:

  • Morgan and I had six Christmases this year spread throughout the weekend!  So glad we got to see everyone!
  • Favorite treat: Christmas morning Morgan and I always bake cinnamon rolls and eat them in bed.  I know that we just started celebrating Christmas as a married couple last year, but it feels good to carry on traditions!
  • Favorite gift: My sister bought me the movie Frozen and then a picture frame of the two of us when we were little looking at each other.  On the outside of the frame it said, “Do you want to build a snowman?”  I loved it!
  • Favorite activity: Friday night we celebrated Christmas with Morgan’s mom’s side of the family.  After we were done eating and opening presents, we somehow turned our little gathering into, essentially, a workout competition which include: walk-out pushups, wall sits, balancing, and even the worm.

There was so much more that we got to do and experience this Christmas, but those are just a few fun highlights!  I hope you and your family had an absolutely lovely Christmas!

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.
