When Morgan and I went on our honeymoon, we decided to create a little tradition: collecting postcards or knick knacks from everywhere we’ve traveled together as a married couple. From Guatemala I have a little parrot bottle opener. From Florida we have a fun rock that we found at the beach. These little treasures fill nooks and crannies all around our little apartment. They’re pieces of our story in tangible objects. These are lovely reminders of where we’ve been together. I will admit though that one of my favorite heirlooms that we have is our wedding album. I encourage my couples to invest in one too, because of the significance I feel when I look out ours! If I’m honest, I don’t look at our wedding album 24-7. I don’t even look at it more than a handful of times a year. The reason why I’m grateful for this heirloom is because I know, from watching others, that this is just the beginning of a collection of tangible objects of our marriage and of our family. I love that I get to create the same thing for so many of my couples!
Love this image and colors of image on cover.

its such an important piece to invest in. couldn’t agree with you more!
There is nothing sweeter than physical prints in your hands. Albums are such a treasure!!
How do you keep your postcards and knick knacks?! I do the same thing :) I don’t know a cute way to store and share them.
