What a whirlwind 2021 was.  Sullivan James entered our lives on May 4, 2021, and in typical second child syndrome, he has received no blog posts until now.

In my defense, I jumped into the busiest wedding season of my career four weeks after he was born and so I’ve decided to extend myself a little bit of grace on that front.  Promise, we love ya bud!

Sully, as we all affectionately call him, is the sweetest little guy.. until he’s not ;) He has 6 massive teeth in and more coming.  Between that and his eczema it was a real toss up for a few months there as to which ailment was causing his fussing.

It’s a good thing he’s so gosh, darn cute ;)

He has a way about him where he’ll have been fussing for an extended period and then finally will chill out and give you the sweetest, goofiest smile.  Like, look guys, I’m making up for it!!

This past month has been so much fun because he is starting to really move around and it’s opened up his whole world!  He’s on the move, crawling all around, pulling up, and sitting up on his own.  It’s like a switch flipped and he’s figuring it all out!  He’s chasing after his sister and they’re playing together more than just screeching (much to this mama’s delight! haha!).

I’m currently writing this post with my first time leaving him for an extended period of time, so I’m going to shut this down before I get too sappy. But seriously, he is such a gift to our little family and I can’t wait to keep watching who he’ll become <3
