Imagine my delight when I opened up our engagement-planning email to find the words…

“I’m thinking Ralph-Lauren-inspired, classic Americana vibes for our session.”

(It was practically a “you had me at hello moment!”)

There is nothing that feels more complimentary to our St. Michael’s backdrop then this, so before I even made my way to Michael & Marta’s session I was looking forward to it.  Not to mention, when we first connected on the phone, I loved hearing all about what they have planned up for their chic wedding weekend at Kirkland Manor with Sara Reynolds this fall.

As you’ll quickly realize, our evening was a true pleasure.  Walking the quaint and charming streets of St. Michael’s never loses its wonder for me, and with these two in tow, it was perfection.

Michael and Marta are the sweetest pair and seem to compliment each other so well.  Getting to hear more about who they are as people and seeing the connection they have to one another… well, it’s one of the best parts of my job :)

After exploring the quaint docks and waterfront, we made our way for the couple to enjoy a date night at the spot that will hold their rehearsal dinner come October.  Ruse, with its gorgeous blue tile and cozy bar seats, made for the perfect ending to our session together.

I think it goes without saying that I am very much looking forward to celebrating these two in October, but until then, enjoy a peek at their Ralph-Lauren-inspired, classic Americana engagement session in St. Michaels.
