Oh man… how do I even begin this post? How about with, if you ever get the chance to go to Queenstown, New Zealand, do it in a heartbeat. By far my favorite part of my entire trip was exploring and adventuring my way through this beautifully quaint town.
When I think about how to describe Queenstown, it begins to remind me of a smaller downtown Quebec, except for the fact that it has mountains surrounding it and the most beautiful glacier tops you’ve ever seen. Not to mention that it’s additionally one of the adventure capitals of the world! While I was there I had the opportunity to experience a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier and I got to bungee jump off of the 11th highest space in the world!
Now before you go off thinking that I was super brave to have gone bungee jumping, my friend Caitlin and the video of it, can greatly attest to the fact that I was most definitely scared. In fact, Caitlin’s favorite part of our little adventure (besides the jump itself) was the fact that I screamed before I even jumped and then stopped once I actually had jumped. But the convincing sign in the bungee jump shop said “Go Big or Go Home” and in that moment I knew I had to honor my childhood hero, Johnny Tsunami.
Anyway, without further ado, I’ll let you enjoy my new favorite place in the world! Happy Thursday, friends!
Oh my word! These are breathtaking!
