If you followed along on Instagram at all last week, you saw that I was in the always sunny California… and lovin’ every minute of it (*name that song*).

The main reason for this trip was to photograph this amazing couple! Aaron and Hannah flew me out to photograph their Newport Beach California engagement portraits and it was so much fun!

These two are both in the military and were back in the continental US for Aaron’s brother’s wedding.  It was the perfect chance for us to meet for the first time before their wedding in September at the Naval Academy!

The Academy is the perfect spot for their wedding day because it’s where they met and fell in love!  Their story is one that starts off as two friends slowly falling for one another.  I think it’s always special when your dating relationship starts with a friendship — it’s how you know you actually like each other! Haha! However, I think we can all agree, Hannah, we’re glad you took Aaron out of the friend zone ;)

From the minute I met these two, I loved how much they adored one another! You can just tell that they’re their best selves when they’re together. And let me tell you what, they are just so. much. fun!

We had a blast exploring a little snippet of Aaron’s home town together, and even though the weather was overcast, it was a perfect evening! *Insert a cheesy line here, like: “Nothing could’ve clouded their adoration for one another ;)”*

Aaron & Hannah, I cannot wait to see you two again so soon!! I know that your wedding day is going to be so much fun and I loved getting to get to know you two and your love story.
