From the minute I hung up from our first Skype call, I knew that I loved these two!  So to say that I’ve been looking forward to their downtown Annapolis engagement session is a bit of an understatement!

Whenever Cory and Gaby are together, excitement seems to just melt into their moods.  When we first chatted, they were so excited to tell me about their love story – something that always counts as a good thing in my book!  They’re the type of couple who genuinely enjoys time together, and after months of long distance, they appreciate every second they get.

When it came time for their Annapolis engagement shoot, with the weather lately, we of course kept checking in on the radar.  Because of the rain in the forecast, we moved things up an hour and just avoided the tunnel of rain clouds that were headed for us as we finished up, got into our cars, and drove home.  I’ll blame the perfect timing on Cory’s radar skills!  That left us with just enough time to explore beautiful downtown Annapolis and to capture this season for them.

If I could dream up a perfect equation for a beautiful session, this one would hit all the marks!

From Gaby’s beautiful dress, to the gorgeous backdrop – magnolias and marble (check & check), to the way these two just love to have fun together, it was a wonderful night.  Plus, these two are pros in front of the camera ( just wait and see)!  Bonus points? The beautiful Tacori ring that Cory picked out himself – I’m still impressed, Cory!
