When Rachel first emailed me, I could not be more ecstatic about her news – she and Dan were expecting their first sweet little babe, and she wanted to celebrate this season with an anniversary session!  I remember when they first started trying and so this was such a fun surprise!  I did have to warn them ahead of time though that they may have to remind me to photograph the babe too, since that’s not normally my style, haha!

We met at Terrapin Park with Rachel’s mama and their two pups, and we set off for the beach.   Because Dan and Rachel love the beach so much, this made the perfect spot for them!  After spending the evening with them, I can just tell that these two are going to be the best parents… the beauty of motherhood just radiates from Rachel’s face already and Dan is going to be such a great dad!  I love everything about this session, and I have entirely too many favorites to choose from, so enjoy today’s extra long post!

Dan & Rachel, thank you so much for trusting me with the task of capturing this season for you two – it was such an honor and a privilege.  Plus, I’m going to go ahead and officially cast my vote – I think you’ve got a baby girl coming your way!  Enjoy, friends!
