Whoops!! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted one of our “Here Comes the Bride” lists.  In case you’re just tuning in with us, I’m currently in the midst of explaining my top eight wedding expenses!!  So far our list has been the people, the photos, the flowers, and today’s is the venue! If you think about it, the venue is definitely one of the most important parts of your day!  It’s the backdrop for everything!

Morgan and I, when we were planning our wedding, were blessed with knowing exactly where we wanted our venue to be!  We got married at Morgan’s family’s farm.  It was a place that was full of such great memories for Morgan growing up!  Plus, the farm was actually the first place that we met!!  We ended up getting married at the same place we had met ten years prior!

Now I know not everyone can get married at the place they first met, but I firmly believe that your venue choice should be somewhere that is special to you and your fiance!  It might be the church you grew up in, or maybe a country club that the two of you are a part of.  Maybe you don’t have a special place in mind but you do know that you love a nautical setting and being on the water!  You should then be in search of a wedding venue that meets those needs!!  The choice of venue speaks a lot into your wedding day.  Since it’s the place where the people go, the photos are taken, and the flowers are placed, I would say it is definitely at the top of the list!!
