Hi there friends! I am currently in a bit of fog after a busy week of wedding festivities, but I thought I would answer a few of your questions about photographing a family member’s wedding! Disclaimer: I’m not an expert and I’ve only done it once, so don’t take my word is the absolute truth! Haha! So one of the first things that people asked was… WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR?! Obviously this was a little tricky for me too… I needed something modest, comfortable, a bit more formal than my normal wedding attire, and it absolutely needed to have pockets! Well, enter J.Crew’s end of summer bridesmaids dress sale, and you get all of the above! I absolutely the dress I wore because I didn’t feel underdressed but could still function super well! Happy Friday friends, I’m off for a weekend of recovering!

That’s a great choice!! I shot my brother’s wedding last year & ran into the same conundrum – I ended up with a Ralph Lauren dress – pockets FTW!! ;)
