Have any of you ever heard of an Xanga?  When I was in middle school it was the cool way to blog.  I used to design themes for it and create my own posts frequently… maybe that’s where my love of blogging started!  Every post would start with a few questions: current mood, currently reading, currently watching, and currently wearing… plus whatever else you felt like sharing!  I was thinking back to those posts just the other day and it sparked the inspiration for this post (and series).  As this is my own personal journal for work as well as for myself, I’ve decided to start sharing my “picks” for the month.  Some of my favorite things I’m loving as the month progresses or things I’m looking forward to.  It includes my current reads, clothing favorites, etc.  So without further ado, let’s kick it off with August’s picks!
