Our Honeymoon Part II | The Biltmore Estate

In the middle of our fun week in North Carolina, we had the opportunity to visit the Biltmore Estate, and let me just start off by saying it was TOTALLY worth it!! I was a little afraid that Morgan wouldn’t really have a good time and that it would just be one of those things that I was the only one enjoying, but we were both completely fascinated by everything there.  The place, while not our style by any means, is gorgeous!!  They don’t allow photographing indoors, so you’ll just have to go check out that part for yourselves, but guess how many bathrooms that place has?! Over 40!! Not to mention the fact that they were all working with running water, at the time in a mansion built in the 1850s!  At this point most people barely had one real toilet, but these people had over 40.  Oh, and did I mention that they had an indoor heated pool and a bowling alley too? Yeah. I told you, fascinating!  The inside of the main building is just the start of it too! The gardens are absolutely gorgeous!! So enjoy a peek into our outdoor adventure at the Biltmore!! I’d love to hear what you think!!

Our sweet waitress Sunny saw Morgan playing with his ring and asked if we were newlyweds on our honeymoon… then she brought us this!

Thanks, Sunny!!

The shot to the far right shows how the grand staircase winds up and down!! How cool is that?!

I’d say their view wasn’t too shabby!!

I’m a sucker for orchids and moss!

Look at my husband being artsy!!

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

THE JOURNAL

Lauren grew up spending her summers at the shore, and when she and Nick got together, she couldn't help but introduce him, too!  Their session in New Jersey was filled with gorgeous light, sweet smiles, and so much love & laughter.

Connor and Alli's wedding celebration was full of lush florals, gorgeous details, and a whole lot of joy.  Their first look was one of the most sacred moments I've witness on a wedding day... filled with so much delight and love!

One of my greatest inspirations comes from exploring and the California coast fulfills that wanderlust like nothing else.  Anytime I have rolling hills and oceanside views, I'm in heaven.

Nate & sofi, baltimore Maryland

She's the ultimate hypewoman. I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
