College Graduation Day

Four years. Three different colleges. Two supportive families. One degree.  Over the past few years, I have been admittedly ungrateful for my opportunity to go to school.  All I was hoping and seeking was to make this little business thrive and sometimes my schooling got in the way of that! Well when you take seven classes in your last semester of college so that you can “just be done already” it’s easy to forget how fortunate you are.  There are a lot of people that don’t have the opportunity to graduate college with their bachelor’s degree, and so today, I’m choosing to focus on how lucky I am that I’ve had the opportunities that I have, even if at the time I wasn’t very grateful for them.

I’m grateful for the people that I’ve met in college, the opportunities I’ve been given, and for the classes that I never expected to like or learn anything from.  And, would this really be a graduation post without a reference to “SCHOOL’S OUT FOR-EVAAA!”??  Thank you, Alice Cooper. Thank you to all of my sweet friends, teachers, and family who have supported me through all of my schooling.  After 16 years of school, I’m officially done!!

Wife, mama, wielder of light & joy, and capturer of moments.  I thrive off of conversation and genuine connection.  In between wrangling our kiddos, and hanging my husband, you'll find me dreaming up my next idea or creative endeavour.  It's these things that culminate to give my imagery a warmth and joy to them - the greatest compliment I could receive.

THE JOURNAL

Lauren grew up spending her summers at the shore, and when she and Nick got together, she couldn't help but introduce him, too!  Their session in New Jersey was filled with gorgeous light, sweet smiles, and so much love & laughter.

Connor and Alli's wedding celebration was full of lush florals, gorgeous details, and a whole lot of joy.  Their first look was one of the most sacred moments I've witness on a wedding day... filled with so much delight and love!

One of my greatest inspirations comes from exploring and the California coast fulfills that wanderlust like nothing else.  Anytime I have rolling hills and oceanside views, I'm in heaven.

Nate & sofi, baltimore Maryland

She's the ultimate hypewoman. I was pretty nervous about being photographed and Lauren made everything fun and flexible. Honestly, I can't imagine the day without her and her team. They were wonderful and hearing from Lauren was always a genuine delight.
