Good morning, and a very happy Tuesday to you! I hope you had a wonderful Monday off for Memorial Day Weekend, and got to spend time with your family and friends, but also reflecting on the sacrifice that we celebrated yesterday. My weekend was spent full of sessions, up and down beautiful, coastal, Maryland, and with the lovely couple that you’re about to meet in particular:
Brian and Maite got married on Saturday at the coastal venue, Herrington by the Bay, but beforehand, we photographed their engagement session too!
Because these two came all the way from Columbus, Ohio for their wedding, we had only this weekend to squeeze in an engagement session and their wedding day! That meant that I got to crash their rehearsal dinner, too! That meant that I got to meet some of the many key people in B & M’s lives, some of which traveled from as far as Brazil and Belgium to attend. After getting to meet Brian and Maite’s sweet mamas and chatting with them a bit, we were off to explore the venue and photograph the pure joy and excitement of what was to come with the anticipation of their wedding the next day!
Brian and Maite are such a sweet couple, and whenever they’re together they just put each other at ease! The two met at Penn State, and after meeting, they quickly started spending lots of time together. When Maite graduated and got a job away from State, the two continued their relationship long-distance (a feat that I always celebrate the hardship of)! Fast forward a bit, and when Brian got a job in Ohio, Maite ended up moving there to join him and they started their lives with their adorable pup!
