We talked on the phone the week before the wedding and one of the things Andrea told me was most important to her was having an outdoor ceremony! The whole time these two had been wedding planning that was Andrea’s “thing.” Well imagine our dismay when we heard that Hurricane Hermine had sped up its path and was now supposed to hit, with rain showers galore all day long. But Saturday morning came around and by some miracle, the weather was absolute perfection – not too warm and without a single rain cloud in the sky! In fact, the weather was so beautiful that they finished off the night with the most vibrant sunset!
And here’s the thing about Mat + Andrea… the reason why having an outdoor ceremony was important to her was because the ceremony itself was most important to her! These two love each other so deeply and were so excited to finally be husband and wife! You could just see it in their eyes – joy exuded as they each said “I do” and it was just beautiful. Their whole wedding day was such a beautiful celebration : from her classic bridal details, to their beautifully written vows, to the look on their faces when they got to soak the day in, to their epic sunset portraits with their transportation for the day, and to that last look they exchanged right before they made their exit, this day was perfect!
I’m so excited to be sharing some of my favorite images with you! Mat & Andrea, I hope you’re soaking up the sun a little extra for me too, in Hawaii this week!! Xoxo!!
A huge thank you to the incredible team who made Mat + Andrea’s day so special:
